Learn how to use Pixel Asset Generator, then get in touch if you need more help.

How it works

Turn photos into cartoon stills and sprite sheets. Your first generation uses a base style. After saving, lock that asset in Step 1 so later generations match.

  1. Choose an asset

Start without a reference for a base cartoon style. Later, lock a saved asset in Step 1 so new assets match its look.

  2. Add a source photo

Upload a photo to generate a cartoon still. Each generation (both still and sheet) costs 1 credit. A simple background usually produces the cleanest result.

  3. Review and refine

Inspect the result, sample colors, paint or erase individual pixels, then download the still asset or continue to an action sheet.

  4. Lock style in Step 1

After an asset is saved to your pack, lock it from Step 1. The next generations follow that pixel style.

Conversion issues

Photo not converting? Make sure the image is under 10 MB and is a clear JPEG, PNG, or WebP.

Sprite sheets

Sprite sheet generation requires the still pixel image to be made first. Start with "Make pixel asset".

Frequently asked questions

How can I get a cleaner result?

Use a sharp image with one clear subject and good contrast. Choose the closest asset preset, then use the pixel editor to remove stray pixels or restore small details.

When do I choose a photo for a custom asset?

Create the custom asset with a name and size first. Select that asset in the list, then add or paste the photo in the main generator.

How do credits work?

A new account receives 10 welcome credits. Each generation (still or sheet) costs 1 credit. Additional 100-credit packs are one-time credit purchases, not subscriptions, and credits do not expire. The first purchase also permanently upgrades the account storage limits. Free accounts include 30 MB of asset storage; the first purchase permanently expands this to 500 MB. 무료 계정은 30MB의 에셋 저장 공간을 제공하며, 첫 구매 후에는 500MB로 영구 확장됩니다.

What image formats are supported?

JPEG, PNG, and WebP up to 10 MB.

How are my photos processed?

Some preparation happens in your browser, while pixel or image data may be sent to the server for conversion and sprite generation. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Can I use the output in a commercial game?

Your rights depend on the source image. If the source is yours, you may use the derived output; if it has a third-party license, those terms continue to apply.

The pixel output looks wrong.

Try the paint and erase tools in the editor to refine the result before downloading.
