Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 15, 2026

This policy explains what Pixel Asset Generator collects and how information is used when you create assets, sign in, buy credits, or visit the site.

1. Account and purchase information

2. Information stored in your browser

We use localStorage for custom asset definitions and previews, language and theme preferences, related editor preferences, and an anonymous visitor identifier used only for first-party page-view and conversion-click counts. This information remains in that browser unless you clear site data. Essential cookies support login, CSRF protection, and rate limiting.

3. Uploaded images and pixel processing

Image preparation and editing may occur in your browser, but uploaded image or pixel data can also be sent to our server for pixel conversion and sprite generation. Sprite generation may send the prepared asset and generation instructions to the generation provider selected by the service. Generated files may be retained temporarily so you can preview and download them. Do not upload an image unless you have the right and consent to process it.

4. Hosting, Cloudflare, and security logs

Our hosting infrastructure and Cloudflare may process IP address, request URL, timestamps, user agent, cookies, and security-event information to deliver the site, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, and protect the service. Their handling is governed by their applicable privacy terms.

5. How we use information

6. Service providers and advertising

We do not sell personal information. We share data only as needed with infrastructure and security providers, Google for OAuth and AdSense, payment processors when purchases are enabled, generation providers used for requested sprite work, and authorities when legally required. Google AdSense is loaded on the product page. Google and its partners may use cookies, device identifiers, IP address, and browsing or ad-interaction data to serve, measure, personalize where consent allows, and protect ads. Where required, we plan to use a consent management platform (CMP) to ask for and record advertising choices before non-essential cookies are used.

7. Retention and your choices

Browser data remains until you clear it or delete a custom asset. Auth sessions expire or are removed when you sign out. Account, credit, and purchase records are kept while needed to provide the service, maintain transaction history, prevent fraud, and meet tax, accounting, or legal obligations. Security logs and generated files are retained only as reasonably needed for operations and security. You may clear browser site data, sign out, or ask us to access, correct, or delete applicable account data. Some transaction records may need to be retained by law.

8. Children and changes

The service is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as the service changes, including when payments or advertising launch. The date above shows the latest revision.
